Neri shares menu for the week after weekly market stop

Not just an inspiring entrepreneur, actress Neri Miranda is proving to us each day that she can also be the best mom and wife by keeping it all hands on, especially on the meals that are being served in her home.

My version of Carne Asada. Paborito ko kase ang movie na “Chef”. Gumawa kase siya ng mga Cuban sandwiches. Kaya nagresearch ako ng Cuban dishes. Kaya ayan, hehe! Kulang na lang ng sunny side eggs at kanin! Kagutom! Carne Asada Recipe Ingredients Pork belly Salt and pepper Saba Cabbage Bell pepper 1. Hugasan yung pork belly, patuyuin. 2. Preheat oven 350° 3. Lagyan ng asin at pepper ang belly, leave it for 20 minutes. 4. Ilagay ang pork belly sa oven for 2 hours. Ikot ikutin na lang every 30 minutes. 5. Para sa saba, slice lang ang saba then fry using vegetable oil. 6. Sa cabbage at bell pepper, hiwain lang then i-sauté sa vegetable oil at asin. That’s it. Super dali lang! After her weekly stop at the market, Neri shared her menu for the week to give ideas to other moms out there.

“O ayan, at least may idea na kayo kung ano lulutin niyo for the week. Kahit papaano ay hindi na kayo mahirapan mag-isip. Luto at palengke na lang ang iisipin niyo. Have a great day mga misis!” Neri said after enumerating her menu.

Yesterday, Neri prepared tinapa, halaan soup, and watermelon. Today, Neri is going to prepare sinigang sa miso, ginisang bagoong alamang, and manggang hilaw.

Katatapos ko lang mamalengke at need ko na ring magluto ng uulamin namin at darating na asawa ko from Cebu. Hindi tuna ang uulamin namin now, gusto ko ng munggo at tinapa. Paborito ng anak ko ang tinapa! Haha! Mahilig sa fish at gulay ang anak ko. Tinapa at ginisang repolyo ang pagkain niya mamaya. Sa aming matatanda, munggo with chicharon at tinapa na rin. Tapos magluluto ako ng halaan soup, yum! Tapos may pakwan panghimagas! Saraaaaaaap! O siya sige, magluluto na ako. Eto pala ang menu ko for the week. Sample menu kase minsan iniiba ko rin kapag may request sila sa bahay. Kung anong kinecrave, ayun ang hinahain. Monday Munggo with chicharon Tinapa Halaan soup Watermelon Tuesday Sinigang sa miso Ginisang bagoong alamang Mangga hilaw Wednesday Tinola chicken wings Mangga hinog Thursday Tilapia Pinakbet Friday Pritong isda Ampalaya salad Labanos with suka Hanggang Friday muna ang menu ko, hehe! Malamang pag weekend, baka kumain kami sa labas o baka magbbq na lang ako. O ayan, at least may idea kayo kung ano ang lulutuin nyo for the week. Kahit papaano ay hindi kayo mahirapan mag isip. Tomorrow, tinola chicken wings and manggang hinog will spice up the Miranda’s dining table, while on Thursday, Tilapia and Pakbet will takeover their kitchen. On Friday, Neri will prepare fried fish, ampalaya salad, and labanos with suka.

Neri said that sometimes, she makes adjustment on the menu, depending on the request of the people at home or based on their cravings.

In the same post, Neri shared that her son likes to eat fish and vegetables.
