Filipino chocolate brand being featured in HK’s ‘Chocolate Trail’
A Filipino chocolate brand is now being featured in Hong Kong’s annual mega event ‘Chocolate Trail’ together with other international brands.
As part of the Chocolate Trail, Hong Kong’s Harbour City Shopping Mall will also be hosting the “Chocolate Tasting Bar” to introduce nine all-new chocolate brands that have been given international awards, one of which is a Filipino brand.
Harbour City will launch “Chocolate Tasting Bar” for the first time and have invited chocolate connoisseur Katie Chan to introduce 9 all-new chocolate brands to this event, four of which have received International Chocolate Awards.
One of the brands is Auro Chocolate from the Philippines. Auro Chocolate is a proudly Filipino, bean-to-bar chocolate company that sustainably sources cocoa beans directly from local farming communities in Davao, Philippines.
Other brands are Fifth Dimension（England）, Fuwan Chocolate （Taiwan), SOMA Chocolatemaker（Canada）, and Le Chocolat de H（Japan).
Manoa Chocolate（Hawaii), which has been awarded Salon du Chocolat Award from Paris, will also be featured in the bar, as well as Marijn Coertjens Chocolatier（Belgium）, which is founded by the former Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel Chocolate Master.
To’ak Chocolate（Ecuador), which is made from the finest and rarest Ecuadorian heirloom cacao – the most luxurious bean to bar chocolate brand in the world, will also be there, and Palet D’or（Japan), which is a bean-to-bar chocolate brand takes sake chocolate as its signature product.
Located at the Gateway Arcade in Harbour City, “Chocolate Tasting Bar” is open until February 25 from 10am to 10pm.
