KFC raises its middle finger to the chicken crisis
In the face of a recent crisis popularly known as ‘the fast food chain running out of chicken’, KFC rolled out a creative stint that involved rearranging its name to ‘FCK.’
In the advertisement, the fast food joint apologized to its customers, saying that it is working to improve the situation.
“It’s been a hell of a week but we’re making progress, and every day more and more fresh chicken is being delivered to our restaurants,” KFC added.
“Operational issues” with new delivery provider DHL were to blame for the temporary closure of KFC’s 900 outlets. But around 700 stores in the U.K. have now reopened.
