Bettina Carlos indulges on a Spanish dinner with daughter
As they make the most out of their stay in an upscale private resort in Siargao, actress and chef Bettina Carlos indulged on a Spanish dinner last night with her daughter, Gummy. There, she also gave her daughter a little Spanish lesson.
In her Instagram, Bettina Carlos shared how she educated her daughter about Spanish food and culture during their dinner last night.
This, after she learned that the restaurant in Dedon Island Resort in Siargao is managed by Spanish guys.
“When I learned that the resort managers and executive chef were Spanish, I knew I had to request for an authentic Spanish bread. Not only because I love Paella but in order to also teach Gummy about their food and culture. Talking to managers Luis and Sarah we learned that Spanish people eat dinner usually around 9:30 or 10 pm,” Bettina said.
“G also learned flor and buenas noches,” she added.
Aside from the Easter break, Bettina was also in the island to celebrate Gummy’s Birthday.
During their first night at Dedon, the staff surprised Gummy with a sweet treat after their dinner.
“Look at her surprised kilig happy face. She insisted on going to the room as soon as she had her fill of her dinner request-udon and tempura. Didn’t know the staff prepared a sumple cake with candle for her. So instead, they brought it to us in the room with a song of course. My baby was happy,” Bettina said in the caption.
