DA-SAAD hold seminars on livestock dispersal in Negros Oriental
The Department of Agriculture – Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) recently held seminars on proper livestock handling in Poblacion San Jose, and Amlan in Negros Oriental.
The back-to-back activity was attended by the SAAD Negros Oriental Staff together with Area Coordinator (AC) Marcelina U. Cabonelas, Information Technologists (IT) Francis Ray Ozoa and Mr. Karl Cabonelas, SAAD-Admin Angelique Babaran; Asst. APCO Mr. Virgilio Awayan, and Agriculturist II Jose Andro Vendiola, and SAAD-Negros Oriental beneficiaries.
San Jose Mayor Atty. Mel Nick Logronio and Sangguniang Barangay (SB) officials were also present.
After Logronio’s message for the beneficiaries, the resource speakers discussed ruminant management, specifically feeding and disease handling.
The resource speakers discussed proper livestock handling as part of the social preparation aspect of the SAAD Program in the province of Negros Oriental.
