Hershey expands Kitkat making-facility in Pennsylvania
The Hershey Company is set to exhaust $60 million to upgrade and expand its Kit Kat candy bar facility in Pennsylvania.
On Friday, executives of the giant candy maker broke ground on the manufacturing plant in Hazleton where operations are proving to be helpful to the company.
The expansion is expected to generate some 110 new jobs to Luzerne County which is situated in the northeastern part of the state.
The new jobs are expected to offer $17 to $22 per hour. The expansion program is slated for completion by the end of the year.
