Long queue at the opening of Jollibee Milan
Jollibee Milan, the first ever Jollibee store in Europe, was welcomed by an extraordinarily long queue… and there is no exaggeration to that.
A few hours Jollibee Milan opened the other day, people, mostly Filipinos, already began lining up out of excitement.
“They’re so excited to experience the #1stJollibeeInEurope! 😁 We’re so close to opening our new #JollibeeMIlan home so come on down to Piazza Diaz 7, Milano if you’re ready to experience Jollibee again,” Jollibee Europe said.
Jollibee Milan is located at Piazza Diaz on the corner of Flavio Baracchini and Maurizia Gonzaga Streets.
Dennis M. Flores, Jollibee’s head of International Operations, said the strategy of the company is to introduce the brand as an “alternative Western-inspired quick-service restaurant with superior-tasting, value-for-money products”.
Italy is home to the seventh biggest population of expatriate Filipino workers.
