Man killed for complaining over food in Delhi restaurant
There’s a saying, “Never complain at a restaurant over food,” probably because of the horror stories and disgusting things staff would do to it when you are not looking.
In India, however, complaining about the quality of food will cost your life. Pawan Kuman, 30, was killed by a restaurant owner and his staff after complaining about the quality of food in an eatery east of Delhi’s Preet Vihar area.
Police report told that the restaurant owner and two other employees – identified only as Sachin, Govind and Karan – have beaten Kumar with heavy kitchen utensils following a verbal scuffle on the quality of food that they serve in the eatery.
Medical personnel were able to rush Kumar to a private hospital, but succumbed to head trauma and body injuries as a result of the beating.
