McDonald’s calls police to kick out homeless man who was treated for a meal
These days, it seems that an act of generosity tends to spark rage rather than touch people’s hearts.
This was the case with netizen Yossi Gallo who had an encounter at a McDonald’s chain in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina that had to call the police to kick out a homeless man that Gallo treated for a meal.
Gallo said he stumbled upon the homeless man nearby and decided to bring him in the fast food to buy him something to eat. However, at the counter, the cashier already refused to serve the homeless man, telling him “you’re not getting food.”
The Myrtle Beach Police Department said the staff sought for their aid to escort the homeless man, along with the good Samaritan, out of the place. The staff complained that the man was soliciting for money in the parking lot.
The trending video has garnered over a million shares on social media. In the clip the police officer could be heard warning the man: “After you’re done eating, you have to leave and you can’t come back.”
