Zomato hits Gold in its online restaurant finder, food delivery business
Zomato, an online restaurant finder and food delivery platform, recently reported a $100 million annualized revenue run rate, with Zomato Gold growing at a hyper pace in less than three months of operations.
In his post in micro-blogging site Twitter, CEO Deepinder Goyal said that they expect the momentum to continue for the rest of the year with Zomato Gold contributing 12 percent of the company’s revenues in all nine countries of operations.
In March 2018 alone, Zomato Gold posted a revenue of $8.2 million owing largely to increased subscription in market like India and the UAE.
The three-month old Zomato Gold service has more than 1.5 million subscribers and with more than 2, 300 restaurant partners in India alone.
