A Pizza Museum set to open in New York in October
Media company Nameless Network announced that it is set to open a Pizza Museum in New York this October.
And as early as now, the company is already selling pre-sale passes for the pop-up, which will run from October 13 to 28.
Although its location has not yet been announced, the Museum of Pizza (MoPi) will charge US$35 per person.
According to Delish, a slice is included in the $35 admission.
“Expect a pizza cave, pizza art gallery, and a pizza beach among other immersive installations. The museum’s official website deems all of them ‘marvelously grammable’,” the report said.
MoPi Founder Kareem Rahma said the concept of the museum all started with this idea of pizza fetish.
“We’re looking at … the reasons why everyone from the working class to the internet media cool kids and Twitter people love pizza so much. It’s less about eating it and more about thinking about it and fetishizing it,” Rahma said in a report.
