
Australian baker starts using hemp to make healthy breads
Australian baker Andrew Bertalli started using hemp, a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species, to make healthy breads, a statement showed.
A report by Australian media firm SBS showed that Bertalli will soon launch his own brand of hemp bread and hemp rolls, which will be sold at select Woolworths and Coles supermarkets in Australia.
“Hemp is too good not to be used in bread,” said Bertalli, who makes and sells ‘healthy breads’ for a living.
Right now, Bertalli is just one of the many Australians campaigning to have hemp foods made available for consumption and sale on local soil.
