Chef Sandy gives shoutout to the best lechon in Leyte
Being one of the most popular and well travelled chefs in the Philippines, it takes a lot to earn a compliment from Chef Sandy Daza.
But the chef, restaurateur and television host, is quite generous when certain flavors meet his taste. During one of his recent visits to Ormoc City, he made sure he personally paid a compliment to Vic, the owner of Pare’s Lechon, which he described as “the most delicious Lechon I have ever tried this side of Leyte.” He said that the flavors of the dish were perfectly complemented by the spicy vinegar, atchara and rice. Now, we’re also hungry.
And its not just restaurants that Chef Sandy gives a shoutout to. He recently stopped over at McDonald’s to try out their spicy chicken and gave the dish a passing mark as well.
“Mc Do’s Spicy and Crispy Fried Chicken! Pretty good!” he said. (ANGEL ONG)
