Dumaguete’s famous sans rival cakeshop to open two more stores in Metro Manila
Pastry lovers will no longer have to visit or ask friends going to Dumaguete City to buy their favorite sans rival and silvanas as the famous cake shop opened it’s first store at Glorietta 4 in Makati City on Wednesday, with two more branches set for launching this month.
“After 41 years in the business, it’s about time,” Trinidad Sagarbarria Bustamante, managing director of Sans Rival Food Development Inc., said referring to the companies aggressive expansion plan.
The two more branches, which will open at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City and Robinson’s Magnolia in Quezon City, will give the Dumaguete’s pride a strong foothold in the competitive food market in the metro.
Bustamante, however, clarified that only core products such as sans rival and silvanas will be available to Metro Manila customers, noting that the pastries will still be made from Dumaguete.
But other cakes and pastries, which will be baked in its Manila branches, will be available to food lovers, she added.
