Starbucks summer drinks are made for matcha lovers and espresso addicts
Summer is here and food chains everywhere just keep bringing in new tropical-flavored treats to beat the heat. For Starbucks, however, it will be a different kind of summer —one that is “unapologetically bold.”
The local franchise of the coffee giant launched over the weekend the two drinks that it will be highlighting these summer months: the Tea-Ramisu and Midnight Mocha.
The Tea-Ramisu is a blend of matcha, whipped mascarpone cheese, topped with whipped cream and green tea cookie crumble. As for the Midnight Mocha, the drink is a mix of java chip and, not just one, but two layers of whipped cream.
Aside from the drinks, the coffee chain is rolling out new snack items in its menu. This will include the Pistachio Dome, the Chocolate Babka, the Maple Pecan Danish, the Spinach Mushroom Dutch, Pancake and the Classic Italian.
Ready-to-eat snacks such as the La Mere Poulard Cookie and the Walkers Shortbread Cookie will also be part of the new options that will be displayed over the counter.
And as is the annual tradition, Starbucks will be releasing new tumblers and mugs for the summer months.
