Wil Dasovich tries out crocs, snails and goat innards in Pampanga
Popular youtuber and model Wil Dasovich recently did a feature for Task Us in their Pampanga office and in doing so, did not miss the opportunity to try out the native delicacies that the province has to offer.
On his visit to the office, he was treated to some snacks like Pesto and Lettuce Chips by local brand Gourmet Farms. He became an instant fan of the pesto chips because he said it tasted like pasta. He loved it so much he even came up with a few slogan like “Pasta in a Chip” and “Spaghetti in a Bite.” Sounds promising.
He also became a fan of Task Us canteen’s healthy menu which included non fried dishes and brown rice. But the real fun begins after they leave the office and get to try out the exotic treats that Pampanga is famous for.
They tries out the sisig croc(odile), and adobong salagubang (beetle cooked in soy sauce), battue tugak, which basically stuffed frogs cooked with veggies.
He didn’t like the papaitan kambing so much because of its strong flavor for liver and gizzards. On the other hand, he liked the sisig croc, which he described as something that would come out of a fish and a chicken if they had a baby.
He also tried out the fried quail, fried croc, and ginataang susoand gave a shoutout to his buddy Erwan who would absolutely try the weird food.
All in all, Wil’s Pampanga food trip seemed like a lot of fun, with the exotic food as much as his happy personality.
