Air BNB offers $1 winery tour for a limited time only
With the summer in the west just around the corner, Air BNB makes an offer wine lovers can’t refuse.
In celebration National Wine Day, the travel site is offering $1 wine-inspired experiences across the country that are valid only for Saturday and Sunday of this weekend. The trips can only be booked this Friday, May 25th, to be used for the coming weekend.
The offer includes a hiking wine tour in the Dundee Hills of Portland and exploring wine country in Washington D.C. and an invitation to join a woman from Austin, Texas on her daily morning vineyard stroll that is purely fueled by Mimosas.
Good Housekeeping has kept a list of the bookings:
-Mimosa Vineyard Walk in Texas
This Texas native will greet you with her signature Lavender Fields Cocktail for you to bring along on your 45-minute stroll through 20-acres of breathtaking vines.
-Virginia Mountain Winery Tour
This vineyard owner’s friends loved the tour she gave of this local winery so much that she decided to open her guides up to the public. She’ll show you around the vines (with snacks and sips in tow) and the rest of the day is yours to explore. Arrange for transportation for an additional fee so you can have the best boozy day in Leesburg, Virginia without having to worry about a thing.
-Hiking Wine Tour in the Dundee Hills
For the truly adventurous, this Portland native will walk you through, not one, but three vineyards on this 4.5-mile tour. She’ll even provide lunch curated to your dietary preferences.
-Wine Tasting With a Local Boston Expert
This host, who also has her Master’s degree in Gastronomy from Boston University, offers up some sommelier-knowledge in a non-intimidating way. Oh, and she’ll bring cheese and nut pairings, too.
-Wine Tasting With a French Winemaker
After working in France for 20 years, this winemaker decided to move to California to share his knowledge. In this lesson, he teaches the best process for getting your vino from wine to glass, and gives you a little more knowledge about pairings, all while offering up some sips, of course.
