Filipino-owned restaurant Kuya Ja’s Lechon Belly is now ready to brave Washington DC market by setting up a store there, a report showed.

Based on a report by Eater Washington DC, the pop-up turned brick-and-mortar restaurant has officially joined the expanding universe of DC’s Filipino restaurants last week.

The restaurant will particularly serve slow-roasted, stuffed pork belly, Kuya Ja’s founder Javier Fernandez said.

Aside from the said signature dish, Kuya Ja will also serve adobo chicken wings, veggie lumpia, sisig, and garlic fried rice-filled burrito, among others.
