Impatient customer blurt out death threats over McDonald’s fries
An unidentified woman is still at large after harassing and threatening McDonald’s employees with a gun over a delayed order of fries.
The woman managed to flee the scene after creating a commotion at a McDonald’s Albany branch last Saturday, said an Albany police spokesman, Officer Steve Smith.
The woman opted for a quick drive-thru but was asked to wait a few minutes for her fries, she was asked to leave the drive through lane and offered to have the fries brought to her to the parking lot to avoid unnecessary delay for other drive-thru customers, the fast-food joint’s manager, Robin Perez, disclosed in an interview with the New York Post.
Upset, the woman blurted out curse words at the manager and threw a slushy she had in her car at the drive-thru window, she then proceeded to park her car after threatening one of the employees saying “I’m going to come back for you.”
She stormed into the store with a black handgun, waved it at the employees while she screams and curse at them. Her companion inside the car followed her to calm her down, after which they left without taking their order, says the police report.
The police are checking for every available cctv footage to find the woman.
