LA restaurant serves marijuana leaves as part of the menu
A restaurant in Los Angeles is making marijuana a legitimate part of their menu.
According to a video produced by Insider, Shibumi, a restaurant in LA uses marijuana leaves in the dishes they prepare and assures their customers that the edible leaves don’t cause patrons to get high.
“Its definitely not gonna get you high. We don’t have any THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) at all Shibumi, owner and CEO David Schloesser explained. “Its all cannabidiol, which is the healing property of the plant.”
He explained that because the leaves that they use are less than five weeks old, the THC does not cling to the leaf. THC is the element that is associated with the psychological effects associated with marijuana or cannabis.
It’s a pretty delicious way to enjoy marijuana’s health benefits without its side effects, we think.
