Marketing firm helps re-define the carinderia lifestyle in PH
Marketing organization Marylindbert International Inc. is set to roll out a program promoting the carinderia lifestyle across different parts of the Philippines next month.
Through a series of reach-out activities, the organization will be promoting “Buhay Carinderia”, a program created by chef and vlogger Erwan Heusaff throughout the Philippines.
Its first stop is in Northern Luzon, particularly the 15 provinces comprising the Regions 1 and 2 as well as the Cordillera Administrative Region, which will be held from June 28 to 29.
The team will then go down to the rest of the regions down south, with stops in Pampanga, Bulacan, the Bicol region, Cebu, Davao for a total of nine months.
For the first time after its six-year run, the program will be supported by the Tourism Promotions Board of the Department of Tourism.
The event hoped to upgrade carinderia’s image, help entrepreneurs, and present their unique style of cooking to a wider audience.
In an interview with Manila Bulletin Linda Legaspi, president and CEO of Marylindbert International Inc., said they will search through the regions from north to south, east to west to search for the best dishes that will represent each place. The creators of the chosen dishes will be acknowledged and honoured for their work.
At the conclusion of the nine-month culinary journey all over the Philippines, “Buhay Carinderia Redefined” will stage its biggest culinary exposition in November where the best foods from the regions will be showcased under one roof. It will be good to compile the winning dishes and their recipes into a book.
