PH industrial, wastewater treatment market to post substantial growth by 2022
A recent study conducted by Ken Research showed that the country’s industrial water and wastewater treatment market is expected to reach $650 million in the next four years as regulators tightens requirements on such facilities.
The study also noted that the momentum for the construction of more industrial water and wastewater treatment was due to the persistent pressure by the government and environmental advocates.
It also said that the robust growth projected in the manufacturing sector will further increase the demand on water treatment plants in order to maximize operational efficiency.
Mindanao and other major provinces in the southern part of the Philippines are seen as the key driver for the growth as manufacturing and industries expand.
“Commitment to conserve the environment and rising awareness about benefits of water treatment for society as whole are expected to have positive impact on the demand,” Ken Research said.
