Toastbox says goodbye to PH… for now
Singaporean breakfast place Toast Box said it will be exiting the Philippines by the end of the month, giving Filipinos a few days left to indulge in its kaya toast, eggs, and coffee sets.
Toast Box, which set foot in the country a decade ago, has been announcing early this month its plan to close local branches by May 31.
“We would like to officially announce that our last day of operating Toast Box in the Philippines will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018,” read the restaurant’s statement which is widely being shared in the social media space.
“We want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your patronage for the past 10 years. It has been a privilege and a delight serving you throughout the years.”
But don’t lose hope. The company is working on store renovations as it gears for a comeback through a different and new brand.
“We hope to see you back in our stores very soon,” Toastbox added.
