Grab now delivers food in Singapore
In a bid to become a one-stop platform for essential services, Grab recently launched its food delivery service in Singapore.
The ride-hailing service provider’s GrabFood is now available nationwide with “thousands” of partner-restaurants to order from, according to a report by The Jakarta Post.
No minimum purchase value is required while orders can also be planned for delivery five days earlier.
Grab Singapore head Lim Kell Jay said GrabFood is a “significant step” to expanding the country’s services to cater to a wider consumer base. Grab already offers package delivery, bicycle rental, and an online payment system, among others.
As in all its other services, GrabFood will also apply the platform’s points-reward system.
GrabFood will also be launched this quarter in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.
