Julia Clarete makes shabu-shabu for her son
Actress Julia Clarete has stepped up her game and prepared shabu-shabu for her son.
Shabu-shabu is a Chinese-Japanese nabemono hotpot dish of thinly sliced meat and vegetables boiled in water.
“When your boy makes lambing that he misses Shabu-shabu, you pick up your game and make shabu shabu,” Julia wrote on Instagram.
Julia and her son Sebastian love to bond over food and this is well documented on Julia’s social media account.
The other day, they had Dolly Mozza Roll at Dolly Dimsum, a Chinese tea house in Kuala Lumpur where Julia is based now with her family.
It was just last year when Julia married her her longtime partner, Irish national Gareth McGeow. They were together for six years before getting married.
Before the wedding, Julia already announced that she’s moving to Kuala Lumpur to settle with her then boyfriend.
