Sapporo introduces a new look
The beer that you knew and loved since you’ve seen it on the big screen has a new look.
Filipinos flocked the grocery stores for Sapporo beer when the movie Kita kita hit the silver screen. The famous beer in a clean sleek white can with a big blue circle and a star right down the middle became iconic as it served as an integral part of the movie’s plot.
Now, Sapporo has released a new 16-oz. (473 ml.) version of the sleek and distinctive Sapporo can. The new package will join Sapporo’s existing product line and will be available nationwide according to a press release.
“We are seeing a large shift in the industry as more and more brands are turning to canned offerings,” said Director of Marketing Jiro Ohkawa. “We have always been known for our iconic silver can; we wanted to be able to further fit our customer’s needs and enter new distribution points.”
The flagship brand and the perfect session beer, SAPPORO PREMIUM delivers a perfectly balanced, remarkably refined taste with a smooth finish.
The launch of Sapporo Premium’s 16-oz. cans will help expand points of distribution and offer consumers more variety. Along with its new size, the can will feature a matte finish and a unique black stay-on tab in the shape of the signature Sapporo star.
