The Friends Fun Wine introduces millennial friendly wine
Hip wine company, The Friends Fun Wine, aims to break the generation barriers with Coconut Chardonnay specifically made to target millennials.
For most people, the generation in which they belong to contributes a lot on their consumption patterns. For one, with millennials there are certain products that come off as too snobbish or for “older people”.
“Even in an era when rosé has become the summer party drink of choice, some say wine still has too much of a snobby reputation,” said Friends Fun Wine CEO Joe Peleg in an article from Market Watch.
The company has been all about making vino an everyday fun drink. Although technically, this is not a wine, but a “wine product” in somewhat the same vein as a wine cooler. It is a drink made with wine and other ingredients — the label lists water, sugar, juice and flavorings. Friends Fun Wine, think of Coconut Chardonnay as your regular chill time drink like beer with only 5.5 percent ABV.
Peleg said this product is geared towards targeting “millennials and specifically women who are looking for alternatives to beer.”
With its simple sweet coconut taste, it could be enjoyed simply by having it chilled. For a more fun spring break atmosphere, it can be made into a piña colada-style cocktail with pineapple juice, club soda and mint.
