This video of the Dutch Prime Minister dropping a cup of coffee is driving the Internet wild
When people think about heads of states, they immediately get the assumption of a dignified personage and a well respected diplomat whose schedule includes day long meetings and state visit.
Well, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte recently broke the stereotype when a video of his reaction when he dropped a cup of coffee suddenly surfaced and went viral.
In the video, the Prime Minister can be seen affably greeting the person who was taking the video and then accidentally dropping the cup of takeout coffee he had with him as he entered. Upon seeing one of the cleaners, Rutte approached her and took the mop from her good naturedly and proceeded to clean up his own mess.
The Dutch Prime Minister sheepishly interacted with his impromptu audience as if embarrassed over his mistake, which earned him even more applause from the witnesses after the floor was cleaned.
That’s what you call leadership by example. The video has been viewed 5 million times and shared over 100,000 times on Facebook alone. (ANGEL ONG)
