Tourism chief indulges on lechon during downtime
Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat finally had some downtime and she’s spending it with friends… and of course, food.
On Instagram, Puyat shared snippets of her bonding time with friends over food.
“This is exactly what I need after a stressful work month,” Puyat wrote.
Puyat said she and her friends served as “taste testers” for another friend’s upcoming project in Rockwell specializing in Lechon Porchetta, Gourmet Lechon Manok, and Lechon Angus Belly.
Before becoming the Tourism Secretary, Puyat was a certified foodie, taking photos of food here and there.
This part of herself was temporarily set aside as she took over a very corrupt government agency.
One of the issues she had to deal with even concerns with food, which is the controversial Buhay Carinderia project which raked in millions of funds from the government.
