310 farmers in Camarines Sur receive land titles from DAR
310 farmers in Camarines Sur in Bicol recently received from the government 390 certificates of land ownership award (CLOA) covering 648.28 hectares of land.
In a statement from Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Romulo A. Britanico said the distributed agricultural lands is part of the 1,421 hectares of agricultural land across the province that were targeted to be distributed this year.
“We are happy to have served you and become instrumental in the uplifting of the quality of your lives as agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs),” Britanico said.
“For this, we worked hard and strenuously put our energy to give you the title of your land. One thing we just asked from you – that you be a good steward of the land awarded to you that our labor in striving to enrich your lives will not be in vain,” he added.
After the distribution of land, an orientation was also given to the ARBs.
“Besides receiving land titles, the farmer-beneficiaries can also expect support from the DAR through its support service component to boost their production and income,” the agency further said.
