7-Eleven operator to open lechon store
Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), the company that brought convenience store chain 7-Eleven in the Philippines, is planning to open a Cebu lechon line within the end of the year.
“We’re trying to investigate how to do lechon.. Probably Cebu lechon because it’s salty, so best value. You can eat a lot of rice with it basically,” PSC President and CEO Jose Victor Paterno said in a GMA News report.
To do this, the company is now in talks with a potential partner that would supply all 7-Eleven stores across the country with lechon.
“With this one, if you share among a few hundred other stores, it’ll probably still be crispy,” he said.
During the second quarter of the year, PSC saw its income rising by 18.9 percent to P342.7 million.
