American kids give mixed reactions to Pinoy snacks
The Kids Try network recently introduced foreign kids to try our favorite Jollibee snacks but this time around, they got American kids to try out unfamiliar snacks from the Philippines for the first time.
When the kids learned that they were trying out snacks for the day, they seemed really excited that they were going to get something cool.
First up, they tried Regent’s Quezo cake which they had trouble pronouncing. The cake had mixed reviews because some of the kids were expecting it to have filling, which they did not get.
They were also introduced to the candy Potchi which got great reviews across the board because of its texture and flavor. The kids were also surprised the chocolate coated snack Moby which they compared to Cheetos but with chocolate. They couldn’t get enough.
Haw Haw didn’t get a great response though because the kids thought it tasted weird. The sourness of ribbed cracklings took them by surprise, but most of the children gave it a passing mark. Their reactions were priceless. (ANGEL ONG)
