Erwan introduces foodies to the ‘other’ Chinatown
Known for featuring hole in the wall diners, restaurants and carinderias, Erwan Heussaff knows his way in and around the metro for the search of good eats.
This time around, he introduces noodle lovers to the “other” Chinatown and traversed the streets of Banawe in Quezon City where Chinese restaurants run aplenty.
At the beginning of the video, Erwan said that the original topic of the video was supposed to be rainy day comfort food but shifted to feature Chinese restaurants in Banawe because it turned out that the weather was so sunny on the day of the shoot.
Erwan first tried out Muy Hong’s Fresh Amoy Lumpia, Pato Misua, Kikiam and Cha Misua which he approved. He also sampled Fung Wei Wu’s famous maki pork noodles which he also recommended. His last stop had his mouth watering because Fook Yuen’s cream crab noodles were absolutely astounding in size and in flavor. Its price varies depending on the season.
“Its so good. Its everything you want it to be in terms of what you’re looking for in Chinese comfort food,” he said. (ANGEL ONG)
