Nas Daily features free water movement in Armenia
In the face of rising cost of goods where even water needs to be bought, travel vlogger Nas Daily discovered something really cool during his travel to Armenia.
He said that while the country is not as popular a tourist destination as some other locations, he found something that travellers could really appreciate – free water.
Nas featured the hundreds of fountains that Armenian citizens funded by themselves so that no one would have the need to buy bottled water. The fountains are the source of safe and potable water for anyone who needs a drink – people or animals alike.
Not only is the free water movement economical but it also helps address the issue of excessive plastic waste since the country hardly generates plastic waste from water bottles.
There you have it, empowerment with water. We wish many countries will follow suit. (ANGEL ONG)
