Pilmico now provides entrepreneurial baking workshops
Pilmico Foods Corporation, a subsidiary of Aboitiz group and one of the largest flour milling companies in the Philippines, now provides a novel food solution to their customers and business partners through entrepreneurial baking workshops.
Pilmico’s workshop aims to boost not only their customer’s baking knowledge but also to provide insight on how they can turn their interest in baking into a profitable business venture.
For customers with little or no baking experience, the bakery management workshop is an opportunity for them to learn more about flour products so they can service their consumers more comprehensively through their enhanced understanding of the products they carry.
Facilitated by technical bakers, the workshop guarantees participants a refined knowledge on the fundamentals of baking and various baking techniques.
Participants of the workshop go through the whole process of bread and pastry making from choosing the right type of flour to costing and hands-on baking.
Recipes discussed in the workshop are all original Pilmico recipes which participants are free to use and further develop as soon as they step out of the workshop facility.
Bakery management workshops are done five times a year in both Manila and Iligan City where Pilmico’s flour-milling factory is located.
Each workshop can accommodate 25 baker-entrepreneurs.
