Prices of fish mostly down in fourth week of June
Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said that during the fourth week of June, mixed price movements for monitored fish species are observed in some regional centers.
To be specific, the price per kilogram of alumahan fell by P20 in Cagayn de Oro and by P40 in Butuan City.
A price cut of P20 per kilogram of bangus was also recorded in Zamboanga City during the week.
The price per kilogram of galunggong, on the other hand, picked up by P20 in both Naga City and Cebu City. It, however, declined by P10 in Batangas City and by P20 in Cabanatuan City.
A kilogram of tilapia likewise climbed by P10 in both the National Capital Region and Naga City. But it dropped by P10 in Cagayan de Oro City.
