California University on the lookout for 250 paid participants for avocado study
If you’re an avocado lover, this might be the dream job for you but the problem is that you may need to be based in the US to get paid to eat your favorite fruit as part of a job.
Loma Linda University in California is reportedly on the lookout for participants in a study to determine if moderate avocado consumption can actually result in weight loss, Fox 5 reported.
The study has opened 250 positions for participants who will be paid $300 each for eating avocadoes. Applicants must be be 25 years of age or older, be willing to either eat one avocado per day for six months or eat only two avocados per month for the same period, measure at least 40 inches around the waist if they are male, or measure at least 35 inches around the waist if they are female.
