Dimples becomes instant fan of La Chinesca’s Mexican fare
It takes a lot to impress a talented cook like Dimples Romana, so when she says that a restaurant is good, no matter how small or quaint it is, you pay attention.
Dimples recently shared that she and her fam dined at La Chinesca at BF Homes. Unlike other restaurants, she says that its open for only lunch and dinner and can seat only about 15 people at a time. She immediately fell in love with the resto’s Tuna Tostada, Guacamole and the Huachinango.
#ABCDfoodventures @lachinesca with the hubby ❤️ #dimpstips they only open for lunch and dinner and would close in between. Come early if you want to be seated inside, parang 15 pax lang I think can sit comfortably 😅 but the food is super good and worth the trip to the South 👍🏻 it’s along Aguirre , BF homes 💋 My personal faves … ALL haha but I loved the Tuna Tostada, Guacamole and the Huachinango 💋 I know there are a lot of great places to eat in BF, any recos?
La Chinesca is incidentally a hole in the wall venture by Chef Bruce Ricketts that features his first specialty, Mexican food.
But when Dimples is at home, she simply prefers to cook her delicious meals for her hubby and kids. Sinigang is a favorite especially during the rainy season.
Even her kids seem to take after her, because this is the finished product of a baking project by her daughter. Wow, the cooking genes seem to have been passed down nicely. (ANGEL ONG)
Super moist banana cake baked by ate @callieahmee 💕 thank you ate!!! When Callie was little, she would watch me in the kitchen while I bake and cook, looks like the cooking and baking tradition have been passed on! Good to know! Totoo that our kids will follow what we do more than what we say 😘 #dimpskitchen
