Int’l agriculture firm invests on PH’s farmers welfare and dev’t
Syngenta, a leading global agriculture company, said it is committed to continue and pursue its current and future projects directed towards farmers’ welfare in the Philippines.
To be specific, the company is committed to support and empower Filipino farmers through product offerings and activities such as seminars and trainings.
Currently, they have been implementing farmer trainings, product stewardship trainings, and integrated farming solutions and offers in different parts of the Philippines.
The farmer trainings particuarly focus on educating farmers about new technology through the Syngenta Learning Centres (SLCs) all over the Philippines where farmers can witness and learn different innovation and technology that could help them improve their yield and productivity.
The product stewardship trainings, on the other hand, focus on raising awareness and educating farmers on the effective and responsible use of Syngenta’s products.
Farmers are also trained on the proper application, handling, and storage of chemical products as the stewardship program also promotes and advocates health and safety of the farmers.
Lastly, Syngenta’s integrated solutions and offers combine seeds and crop protection products that would provide the best outcome for the farmers.
