Janine harvests coconuts and pineapples with Batangas farmers
While other young stars choose to spend rainy days indoors, Kapuso star Janine Gutierrez did something different and literally got down and dirty with farmers in Sto. Tomas, Batangas to harvest coconuts and pineapples.
The farm life seems to suit her because the snap she uploaded on her Instagram showed her wearing a smile as she kneeled beside a horse and harvested pineapples from the ground.
“We were taught how by the hardworking locals of Sto. Tomas, Batangas. It’s no joke and definitely not an easy task!! Especially during the rainy season. Was reminded again about how the Filipino spirit is waterproof,” the young star said in her caption.
Gathered coconuts and pineapples the other day despite the crazy weather!! We were taught how by the hardworking locals of Sto. Tomas, Batangas. It's no joke and definitely not an easy task!! Especially during the rainy season. Was reminded again about how the Filipino spirit is waterproof ⛈⛈ Proud ❤️ #OPPOF7 #RainyDaySelfie #JanineDayOffJobs
When she’s not taking on a role as a farmer, she enjoys treating herself to her favorites, Japanese sushi and steak.
Sushi and steak are my weaknesses but that doesn't mean my lipstick has to suffer 💋 Its 16-hour long wear, food-proof, transfer proof and non-drying ✨ We don't have to worry about retouching and uneven lips with the #INFALLIBLEPROMATTELIQUIDLIPSTICK from #LOREALPARISPH. Only P390, too! I'm wearing shade 358 – Cowboy ✨
And even when she’s done travelling, she tries to keep herself inspired by posting throwbacks of the delicious meals she ate so she can stay motivated to return. She declared this paella to be the best she has ever tasted in her life. And unlike regular seafood paellas, this one is made of lobster. Yumminess. (ANGEL ONG)
