Locally made chocolates now available in Duty Free PH
Locally made chocolates are now being sold in Duty Free Philippines, which are located inside the country’s airports.
On Twitter, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said she is happy to finally see Duty Free Philippines selling locally made products such as chocolates.
“I have always wondered why we sell imported chocolates in the departure area of Duty Free Philippines when we have world class local chocolates. Now we are finally selling proudly Philippine made [chocolates]!!” Puyat said.
“Thrilled to see these brands there,” she added.
Puyat is referring to local brands like Manila, Risa, Coco Dolce, and Mount Mayon.
