Make your own Pad Thai at home. Here’s how:
Craving for your favorite Pad Thai noodles but too lazy to actually get out of your house to travel to your go-to Thai restaurant?
Chef and author Caroline Artiss shares a simple way to prepare pad thai at home. Through a Facebook video, she shares the steps to making the delicious Thai noodle dish.
First, soak rice noodles in water for 30 minutes.
To make the sauce, combine fish sauce, fresh line juice, chili flakes, brown sugar and mix them all together.
Heat oil in a pan and add lots of garlic, shrimps, scrambled egg as if you’re making an omelette. As soon as its solid, break it up, then add the softened noodles in the pan.
Add a bit of water then pour in the sauce, some chopped peanuts, dried shrimps, spring onions and bean sprouts.
That’s it. Serve and enjoy. You will be surprised at how great it tastes, especially if you adjust the ingredients to your taste. (ANGEL ONG)
