McDonald’s crew fired after throwing hot grease on customer’s face
What could be a simple altercation that recently happened in a McDonald’s branch in Arkansas has resulted to an employee throwing a hot grease into a customer’s face, which eventually lead to her termination.
FOX News reported that a McDonald’s employee was fired after allegedly throwing hot grease on the face of her customer, identified as Tonio Andrews, while the latter is ordering via drive-thru.
“An argument ensued and Andrews said the worker tried to close the drive-thru’s window, but he stopped it with his arm. The customer claimed the worker ‘came to the window with a container filled with boiling hot grease and she threw it at his face’,” the report said.
To act on the matter, McDonald’s proceeded to fire the employee while also making a police complaint on Andrews who smashed the restaurant’s lobby door during the argument.
The complaint said Andrews “became irate in the drive-thru and had returned and smashed the glass on the lobby door”.
