Prep dinakdakan like a pro with this recipe
Want to know how to prepare the Ilocano delicacy dinakdakan?
Yummy posted a quick video on how to prepare the delicious ulam/pulutan fare and it looks pretty simple.
Step 1: In a pot boil 1 kilo of pig ears and one kilo of pig face, season with salt and pepper. Boil until the meat is tender enough.
Step 2: Set up another pot to boil ¼ kilo of pig’s brain but you only need to cook it for 10 minutes until you see it turn white. Set this aside.
Step 3: Grill the boiled pig ears and face until they’re good and crispy. Set aside and chop into bite sized pieces.
Step 4: On another bowl, mix the pig’s brain, with 1 tbsp ginger, 4 tbspsukangIloko then season with salt and pepper.
Step 5: Add the chopped meat and add slices of one medium onion, top with 6 green chili peppers, sliced. Mix well and serve. Thanks Yummy!
