Tim Hortons supports Tahanang Walang Hagdanan
Tim Hortons, Canada’s favorite coffee chain, has raised funds for the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, Inc. (TWH), a group dedicated to uplifting the lives of orthopedically handicapped persons.
The fundraising was done through Tim Horton’s first ever Smile Cookie Campaign in the Philippines.
A statement showed that proceeds from the campaign will be used for the improvement of TWH’s facilities.
Right now, TWH offers rehabilitation and skills training to help people with disabilities become more self-reliant.
Its core services include mobility aid assistance training, medical assistance training and livelihood seminars.
“No doubt, every Smile Cookie bought has helped bring smiles and raise funds to aid our partner organization Tahanang Walang Hagdanan,” said Rickie Yap, president and CEO of Tim Hortons Philippines.
