Bo’s Coffee unfazed by inflation, keeps prices
Despite rising inflation, consumers won’t see any upward price adjustment while dining at homegrown coffee chain Bo’s Coffee, its top official assured.
This, as the company attempts to keep its prices at least until the end of the year.
“I don’t want to contribute to inflation. I talked to a lot of businessmen, that’s just like really an energy vampire,” Bo’s Coffee founder Steve Benitez said in a report in GMA News Online.
To recall, inflation, or the cost of goods, recently surged to 6.4 percent, its highest level in nearly a decade.
Benitez said that this “for sure” will have an impact on businesses, including their operations, but the company decided to delay a possible price increase next year.
According to him, prices of raw materials have already gone up as early as now.
