Level up your turon experience with this recipe
Pinoys love turon for merienda but the folks at FeedyTV have shared a recipe for something similar using regular ingredients from your kitchen which will definitely make your kids super happy.
For the deep fried banana bread with cheese snack, you only need to prepare 10 slices of bread, 2 bananas, 10 slices of cheese, 2 eggs and one bowl of wheat flour.
The procedure is quite simple. Instead of using lumpia wrapper like typical turon, use the bread and cut off its sides as the base. Put the cheese on top of the bread and layer the slices of banana in one line. Roll it like you would a spring roll before rolling it in egg and wheat flour. Deep fry and voila, its definitely one tasty and simple snack that’s also quite nutritious too.
