Public gobbles on TienDA Farmers and Fishermen’s Outlet
Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said the second weekly staging of the TienDA Farmers and Fishermen’s Outlet drew an even bigger crowd compared to last week.
“Just like last week, Vegetables fruits, fish and rice were sold at farm gate prices,” Piñol said.
He also noted that the TienDA in the Bureau of Plant Industry compound in San Andres, Manila was more orderly with security guards manning the lanes for buyers.
The TienDA will continue until today in two venues – BPI San Andres, Manila and DA Central Office in Quezon City.
