Robinson’s Supermarket vow to sell refined and raw at fixed price
The Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) said that Robinsons Supersavers, part of Robinsons Supermarket, has pledged to sell refined sugar at fixed price of P50 per one kilo bag and raw sugar at P45/kg.
This commitment, according to SRA, was part of the company’s support to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s call to help bring down the prices of sugar in the retail market.
On Tuesday, SRA Administrator Hermenegildo Serafica and SRA Board Member Roland Beltran visited Robinson’s Supermarket in Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Quezon City to see for themselves the price of sugar at the said store.
As of now, Robinsons has 160 supermarkets nationwide. All of these stores are expected to apply the aforementioned price schemes.
