DA forced to extend TienDA for another day
Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol said that since there are still products left at TienDA Farmers and Fishermen’s Outlet in Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) compound in Malate as well as huge demand for it, the Department of Agriculture (DA) was forced to extend the makeshift market for another day.
“The TienDA Farmers and Fishermen’s Outlet at the Bureau of Plant Industry Compound in San Andres, Manila has been extended until Sunday, Sept. 30,” Piñol said.
He said that as of yesterday, the items available include Durian and Lanzones from Davao and Cotabato and potatoes and carrots from Bukidnon.
These products are sold at farm gate prices.
